Hello, I'm the lovely Nyx. My friends describe me as friendly, playful, and independent. I love to play with toys -- especially wand toys -- and look out windows. I enjoy humans and run to the door to greet them. I'll even curl up in their lap while they spoil me with pets, or I'll sit nearby because I enjoy their company and think they like mine too. Sometimes I steal their chair, but it's because my human friends warmed them up. And here's a surprise: I like belly rubs! I might do better as an only cat because I want all the love and attention to myself. If you're looking for a trusted companion, I'm looking for a bestie.

Ask for me in the Adoption Center because I'm keeping the chairs warm in an office while being the purr-fect companion to my officemates.

Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult, but it's always a good idea to set up an appointment with my new vet soon, so that we can meet and make plans to keep me happy and healthy!

The litterbox in my previous home wasn't always as clean as I wanted it, so there were a few times I felt uncomfortable using it. I haven't had any issues at the shelter, though, and I know I'll do well with a slow intro to a new home and clean boxes.
